A survey was distributed electronically to 1408 members of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS) residing in the United States and internationally, via the association's online listserv. A detailed analysis was performed on the aggregated responses.
Of the 90 members, 64%, or ninety members, replied. 89% of the respondents in the survey primarily concentrate their practice on pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. To understand the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on surgical practices, this study was undertaken in the Netherlands.
A nationwide study, conducted in partnership with the Dutch Institute for Clinical Auditing, was undertaken.
